However just 5 years ago, I was in a very different position. I was working in a boutique 40+ hours a week, living in my grandfather’s upstairs after my childhood home was foreclosed, in a different city than all my friends, taking online classes and just straight up miserable.
I would wake up at 5:15am, get all my stuff for the day and head to the gym for my 6am crossfit class. After an hour workout, I'd pick up my daily large iced coffee from Dunkin (because it was the cheapest) and head to the boutique. I'd do my makeup and get dressed there because I lived too far to go back home. I'd work 10am-6:30pm, return home, eat, do online homework and crash.
I hardly saw anyone, I was miserable and cried almost every night before bed.
So what changed everything? I went on a study abroad trip for 5 weeks in France and decided FUCK THIS. I didn't know anyone and they didn't know me. I took that as an opportunity to be whoever TF I wanted to be.
I showed up as the girl I always wanted to be. Fun, nice, goofy, the type that lights up every room. I was positive, I didn't gossip. I was just MYSELF for the first time.
When I returned home, I dove into personal development to maintain this new lifestyle. I learned about mindset, the brain, affirmations, manifestation, the laws of the universe, business, motivation, productivity, vibrations, frequencies, chakras, astrology. ANYTHING I could get my hands on that would help me level up my life.
Since diving into manifestation, universal laws and mindset, I've manifested everything from travel to friends to money to abs to designer bags to my dream apartment.
